The cookout restaurant on Capitol Blvd. has great milkshakes in a large number of flavors. I had the fresh watermelon shake and it was wonderful. It really tasted like watermelon. The shake managed to be both light like fresh watermelon and creamy like a milkshake should be. I’d love to know how they pull that. I also had a burger and fries which had a good chargrilled flavor but was a bit small in my opinion. Prices were quite reasonable
Number one Kitchie Chinese Restaurant. You have to visit just to see the gold mirror ceiling, koi pond and red and gold boothes. The food was old school chinese american cuisine. I enjoyed eating it and then had an MSG headache and hangover.
