Los Jarritos is the single greatest restaurant in Sacramento. A bold claim, I know, but let me explain why.
They are genuine taqueria run by genuine mexican immigrants. Their entrees are both huge and delicious.
They have 3 huge HD tvs placed perfectly in the restaurant. These are always tuned to ESPN2, so it can be a great place to watch some basketball or hockey.
They have hand made popsicles available for desert. These are really cheap, only a dollar last time I was there. They come in huge range of flavors, mostly fruit and nut. These are almost always just cream, ground up whatever the flavor is, and sugar. FANTASTIC.
Los Jarritos is great if you're on budget and want some authentic, gut busting mexican food. I've tried most places in downtown sacramento and los jarritos has yet to be beat.
