I often find myself trying to find good food on a small budget, and Tex Wasabi is great for that. Guy Fieri from the food network is the owner and executive chef, although he isn't often at the restaurant. It has a really loud, upbeat sports bar kind of scene. The full bar is awesome, with a lot of really good drinks. They server both barbeque and sushi, which is an interesting mix. The appetizers are pretty cheap, and come in pretty big portions. A good strategy is to buy a big appetizer and a medium sized entree. This saves some money, and still lets you get full.
Both the BBQ and the Sushi are fantastic. There is also "gringo sushi", which is sushi with more American ingredients. For example there is a pork/french fry/onion roll that is popular. Their traditional sushi is also great.
