About Circolo
A San Francisco native, Executive Chef Weyman Li has a culinary passion for excellence and is excited to bring his progressive approach of Nuevo Latin/Asian cuisine to Circolo. After graduating at the top of his class from the Le Cordon Bleu program at the California Culinary Academy, he entered the professional restaurant world and rose quickly through the ranks, promoted to Sous Chef at Firefly Restaurant in just two years. He then further cultivated his talents at such San Francisco landmarks as Ozumo, Yoshi¯s and La Mar Cebicheria Cuisina Peruviana. Chef Li¯s most recent post before joining Circolo was at the Murray Circle restaurant in Sausalito where he worked with Michelin star-rated Chef Joseph Humphrey. By launching a new menu based on shared plates, Circolo is promoting an inviting ambiance for "family style¯ dining. Circolo features a cascading water wall with a backdrop of bamboo and metallic mesh curtains that defines a chic and cozy lounge area within the main room.
