Santa Monica Seafood has been a local establishment for god knows how long. They supply a majority of all the premium seafood to the high-end seafood restaurants in LA. They recently re-located their retail store front from 12th and Colorado to the more people-traffic friendly corner of Wilshire and 10th St and they also added a restaurant to their store. Keep in mind, this is a seafood store foremost and a restaurant second but for what they do serve off their menu, you know it's gonna be the freshest seafood there is! And for the type of seafood you're getting, I'd say it's a pretty good bargain. They have a raw oyster bar and I strongly recommend the kumamotos or the kusshi oysters - they're small but sweet and delicious.
