While Silver Lake is the junk food of Schaumburg Chinese food, Yu's is the classy Chinese food. I have never been there and had my food be anything less that delicious. It also has a very fun bubbly atmosphere that is absolutely perfect for groups. As I type this I'm already mentally planning my next trip there.
Chinese food in America today has been so americanized, yet Yu's hasn't conformed so much to this. They have a wide variety of traditional Chinese dishes, along with some Americanized dishes. The food, regardless of what you get is great, and the service is pretty good as well. It's a little on the expensive side, but is a great place for a group dinner or a work lunch.
I dont think I have ever been to a bad Sonic Drive-in anywhere. Service here has been good.
