We started with the Bloody Mary, which was pretty good, despite the forest of unripe celery. Chips and salsa were decent as well. And the mimosas at the other table looked delicious. But the Huevos Rancheros!! A watery, disgusting mess. Blue corn tortillas topped with black beans, eggs and cheese sounded great, but then they doused it with a green chile salsa, lacking flavor and a red chipotle salsa. The salsas and beans made the tortillas a soggy mess. And the red salsa had a horrible flavor. Bad flavors and a watery, soggy disaster. Yuck! My boyfriend's meal looked good, though, and he seemed to enjoy that, but how can you mess up chorizo and eggs? Then again, I thought that about the rancheros. And the dead bird outside the door was a great touch as we left.
