"Dos" , as it's known to the locals, is some of the best authentic mexican food to be found. The menu includes the usual mexican selections, including fajitas, burritos, enchildas, and tacos. If you want to try the best tacos anywhere in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area, Dos is the place to go. The beef tacos are absolutely amazing, as are the chicken tacos. Another menu item of note is the Fajitas, which are always perfectly seasoned, with meat cooked just right. Dos doesn't skimp on the fajita toppings either! The fajitas are a perfect dish to share with a friend, and you'll have more than enough for two. If you're looking for typical American bar food, you'll find the usual selection of burgers, fried cheese, and onion rings as well.
At night, Dos Gringos becomes one of the most popular nightspots in the area,and unless you arrive very early, you may even be turned away from the door. There is a small dance floor upstairs, with plenty of table space, and even a lounge with couches. The waitstaff is unfailingly prompt, efficient, and friendly, regardless of what time of day you're there. The atmosphere includes a wildly over the top Mexican theme, with psychadelic painted cacti on the walls! Dos Gringos is a really fun place, with fantastic Mexican food. It's a can't miss choice for authentic Mexican in Scottsdale.
Used to visit Sittons at least three times a week when living over on Hartsook St in NoHo. Was there for good times and bad, happy and sad. It was my second home and now that I live in Tennessee, I visit it every time I'm in California. Pros: Pictures on the walls, wire mesh in bathroom windows, those round seats at the counter Cons: None that I can think of
