"Legendary spot for all-day dim sum, served from carts in the traditional fashion." Hot, fresh and lots of it!
One of the mainstays in Seattle's International District, House of Hong serves dim sum during the traditional around-noon-hour time until 2:30 or 3:00 in the afternoon. (There's a sign that advertises dim sum until 4:30, but my experience has been that they either run out of most things, or the dim sum that's left after 4:00 can look "tired"). House of Hong is also open for dinner every night, and there is a small bar serving cocktails. This is a popular place for large groups, parties and celebrations - there are big tables towards the back of the main floor, as well as booths nearer the front for smaller, more intimate get-togethers.
three of us went in for drinks...all of them were wrong or messed up. I don't know if they were trained right or what. Not quality. Not friendly. Maybe the employee's are sick of work? Well, we gave it another shot, and another...it's just bad!! We were visiting from seattle, I'm not sure which starbucks it was - it was by the beach. My advice, support a local coffee house. Because jacksonville's starbucks is not up to standard.
