The colors of the rainbow and everything in between are represented in silk panels strewn from 12 ft ceilings, the cushions on all chairs and a patchwork organization of panels hung parallel to the ceiling. The menu is just as abstract: green curry mussells, chicken and waffles, chocolate creme de pot, north african tagine, tahini and avocado dressed salad with pistachios, and the list goes on. It's a tight squeez if you're planning a large group, or as a couple tucked in a corner and it can be a bit loud, but it's only because guests want to order more, or inquire about the atmosphere and the savvy Jamaican owner. The summer is the best time to visit, the alley way is the most charming and secluded that you'll find in Seattle. The wine list is great, but don't forget to peak at the non-alcohalic list as well, exceptional drinks-try the Jamaican Heights.
