Best service, best food, best ambience. Great happy hour specials all week long, not to mention the award winning buile your own bloody mary bar during saturday and sunday brunch. The restaurant had been purchasded by Chef Scott Vogel in March 2008. Chef Vogel has been in the industry for over 22years. He has helped open stores for Bonefish Grill, Hops and more. He created the concept Boneheads for a company in Atlanta called Raving Brands. Chef Vogel has dedicated his experiences, talents skills to make Cafe Alma the destination of Downtown Saint Petersburg. Definitely award winning new menu!
Had the price fix and it wasn't worth it. Ordered the shrimp appetizer and the remoulade sauce was bland. The Caesar salad dressing was bitter and the lettuce was not fresh. The sirloin steak was tough, although the accompanying sauce helped a bit. In all I felt ripped off.
I won't be back.
A completely relaxed setting. Our lunch consisted of a platter of crawfish that were simply awesome, and a generous amount of huge, beautiful, and succulent shrimp completed the meal. Also, the friendly folk helped round out this nice experience. We were visitors from Ohio, but, nevertheless are aware of what good cajun food is all about. Hence, trips to this area of LA are important- and the Boiling Point will be a must for all future excursions to this area.
