My grandfather and grandmother live in Redfield, KS, about 45 minutes south of Yale. They would eat there every Friday night after work. When we were visiting them, we would go with them. It was the first place I have ever eaten onion strings, and I loved them! I also always had to have spaghetti as one of my sides, and their German coleslaw and potato salads were the only ones I would eat. I will also never forget the old Budweiser sign that would hang from the ceiling in the game room, with the Clydesdale wagon being pulled around it.
