On a recent trip to Tampa, I had the pleasure of being treated to a dinner at Pane Rustica. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, but once you walk inside the décor is stunning for the space. Fountains adorn the walls and cases of baked goods surround the seating area, full of small tables. This is a locals place and the servers greet the regulars by name with smiles and their favorite drinks. Take note, however- it is not an inexpensive place to eat. The entrees run from $12 to $25, but are large enough for two. The sheer variety represented on the menu will cause you to spend quite a bit of time perusing- make sure to choose a glass (or bottle) of wine before you begin. Also save room for dessert- the sweet treats ranging from pastries to gelato have put the restaurant on the map and are the perfect ending for a terrific night.
I love this restaurant. This place is amazing! One of my friends took me out to this place and I fell in love with it the minute I went in. The decor is great. The service is also great, the servers are curteous and patient. The food was excellent. I got a soup and salad lunch and it was about 10 dollars.
