If you aren't familiar with what an izakaya is, then Guu will give you the best first impression possible. They way it works is you walk in the door and every employee screams Japanese welcomes to you, then you sit and order small items while probably sipping interesting cocktails or sake. The place is noisy, trendy, and exciting. The decor is very earthy and comfortable. The FOOD is what will really bring you back for more. You won't find sushi here. This place is for the usual sushi patrons who are looking for more, and that's what they'll find and then some here. I highly highly recommend the 'Garlic Mayo' prawns.
