Shabusen has 2 locations here in Vancouver. The one I'm referring to in this review is the Granville location, since that is where I have gone more often out of the two. I am recommending this place, but with some reservations. Their big attraction is the all-you-can-eat Japanese cuisine which you can couple for the SAME price with Korean barbecue, done by you right at your table. The food is actually pretty good, which is a big brownie point since most all-you-can-eat places offer some pretty frightening renditions of 'food'. Their decor is also pretty neat, and the service can vary from reasonable to unforgivably horrid depending on who you have. Shabusen is MIGHTY popular, so be prepared to wait. Last time I went, I made a reservation and still waited for half an hour upon arrival.
