Banana Cafe is a great little place in Eastern Market. It was one of the first restaurants I went to when I moved to DC and I loved it. The restaurant is small and colorful and their staff is very friendly. I loved the fried plantains and the rest of the food is also very good.

The food was great plenty of it and hot. the desserts are as good as my MOM used to make.I think MOM came back to life and is making desserts there.
