I moved from the city six months ago and am going through withdrawals of having great restaurants surrounding me. Johnny's chophouse is the closest restaurant I have come across in the area that is of the same caliber as Gibsons and other Rush Street favorites. I completely disagree with the last review that Las Vegas is the same Restaurant at cheaper prices. Don't get me wrong Las Vegas is the best dinner in the area, but for 2inch steaks that are tender and juicy Johnny's chophouse is clearly the number one steakhouse. I had the cowboy cut and ever since then I still have cravings for it. I am sick of the hillbillies out here thinking they are going to get lightning fast coffee shop service at a steakhouse. My wife had shrimp diablo. It was huge and delicious, Despite her best efforts to finish it, even with a little help from me, she still took home some of it. Let's just say we enjoyed it the next day. The dinning room is really cozy with great lighting, hard wood floors, and cool pictures of old Antioch. I thought the service was great, Our server was attentive and polite. She planned out our food perfectly so we could sit, talk, and enjoy our meal. One of my pet peaves is when you pay good money to have food and drink shoved down your throat so the restaurant can reuse your table. If you want a restaurant that will leave you with cravings for more, then Johnny's chophouse is clearly one large step above the rest.

The food is good at Lauriol, but it's known for its margaritas. It has a big outdoor patio and is great for meeting people after work for a drink. The fajitas are good, but nothing special. Lauriol is a great neighborhood place.
