Foie Gras May Cause Amyloidosis Causes Alzhimers



I read an article in Reuters today that said that liver pate can transmit this disease to humans. The disease, amyloidosis affects organ systems in the body like the heart, kidneys, nervous system and gastrointestinal tract. It can also cause blood conditions. Apparently, Alzheimer's disease, is a type of amyloidosis. Don't know if this is really true, but it's something to look at.
