We'll be in Williamsburg visiting friends for New Years Eve and we're looking for somewhere to eat well that isn't right in Times Square, maybe staying in the Brooklyn area. Price range $100 - 200/person. Preferably somewhere with a view of the harbor?
We're trying to stay away from the large parties where you pay for DJs and fingerfood... we want to eat WELL. No picky eaters, so any cuisine is ok.
Any suggestions? - 11th Nov, 2007

I am a big fan of Sea, you may not escape the loud music, but the food is cheap and delicious, I might recommend this place, but you should call them and ask what's going on during New Years as it is quite trendy. I have to say - no view though.
I really like Al Di La (Italian) and Palo Santo (Latin). Don't know what the prices will be around New Years, but I am sure if you call they will give you a good idea.
