"..Foods Income Fund, a Canadian company that produced more than 1 billion containers of wet food for animals in 2006, recalled its "cuts and gravy" style of pet food over the weekend after 10 pets died from kidney failure after eating the food. It wasn't known where the pets and their owners lived.
More than 60 million cans of dog and cat food have been recalled by Menu Foods, based in Streetsville, Ontario.
In a statement, the company said it was recalling the food because of customer complaints and its "impact on the renal health of the pets.
"...Symptoms of renal poisoning include lethargy, jaundice and vomiting.
The company said food made from Dec. 3 to March 6 could be tainted. During that period, Menu Foods began using wheat gluten from a new supplier. The company since has stopped using the supplier."
Here is a partial list from hubpages.com. I have not been able to validate the authenticity.

Just saw something really messed up. Turns out the COO of Menu foods sold his shares of stock soon before the pet food recall. It seems they knew they were poisoning our pets.
