When I first heard of the NY Bite Club I immediately thought of people dressed up in black making believe they were vampires. Fortunately, this was nothing of the sort. I kept hearing people talking about this amazing underground dining club; foodies and gourmets raved about the super secretive chefs and the amazing meals they prepared.
Bite Club has been operating in secret locations throughout NYC for the last 8 months with rave reviews and great success. The chefs (who will be referred to as "Those Who Shall Not Be Named" from now on are a wonderful couples hold dinners in their NY apartment ever weekend. They started the club with just friends and family but pretty soon through word of mouth "Those Who Shall Not Be Named" became the hosts of the most sought after dinners in the city. They are booked through August, so when I contacted them 2 months ago I was thrilled to hear that they had a Friday night opening. The dinners are limited to 10-18 people making it quite intimate and fun.
"Those Who Shall Not Be Named" use only the freshest organic and most importantly local ingredients to help boost the economy. This also ascertains that the meals consumed are seasonal and delicious.
Once we had booked the night, we were instructed by the Bite Club to fill out questionnaires in order for them to customize the meal to our specs. The questionnaire consisted of food allergies, favorite foods, hated foods and secret food desires that we would love to fulfill.
Following are pictures of some of the menu items we delightfully consumed and of the fun we had. We will be holding another meet-up in the NY Metro area in the near future so if you are interested in attending, just send me a note.

Thanks to all who attended the Meet-Up, I hope you enjoyed the goodies.
