Tasting Event
Now in its second year, the world-class Chicago Gourmet event showcases the talent of Chicago’s culinary community through two days of high-end food and wine tastings, informative demonstrations and educational seminars. This year’s event features offerings from more than 50 chefs, 300 wine makers and 65 spirits providers.
From September 26-27, 2009, guests will enjoy celebrity chef cooking demonstrations, a fabulous seminar series, plenty of premium wine tastings, gourmet food samplings and more. An exclusive Grand Cru wine tasting will be available each day as well as a special Dine Around that will bring the event into some of the best restaurants in the city.
Earn a free ticket to Chicago Gourmet
The Chicago Gourmet Dine Around consists of more than 40 restaurants featuring three-course lunches and dinners between $30 and $50. (Full-price tickets are $150). Order the special menus at any five restaurants and turn in your receipts for a free Chicago Gourmet ticket.
Guests who purchase five meals during the Dine Around period, Monday, August 24th through Sunday, September 27th, at any participating restaurant must attach a copy of their receipt to their passport in order to redeem a complimentary ticket to Chicago Gourmet. Each individual diner must present five receipts in order to receive a complimentary one-day ticket.
