Spring is here and that means baseball and all that insanely delicious stadium food. According to the National Hot Dog & Sausage Council, in 1893, sausages became the standard fare at baseball parks.

This tradition is believed to have been started by a St. Louis bar owner, Chris Von de Ahe, a German immigrant who also owned the St. Louis Browns major league baseball team. Since then, Baseball stadium food offerings have greatly expanded.
Inspired by Men’s Journal here are the best baseball stadium foods, many of which you can easily make at home
Insane Baseball Stadium Foods You Can Make At Home

MAC N’ CHEESE HOT DOGS
There’s Boog’s Barbecue and Maryland Crab Cakes, of course, but Stuggy’s Crab Mac n’ Cheese Dog – an all-beef hot dog split down the middle and loaded with creamy macaroni and cheese, fresh lump crab meat, and a couple of shakes of Old Bay – is a belly bomb like no other.

KAHLUA PORK NACHOS
The last of the cookie-cutter ballparks, the outdated O.co Coliseum (or whatever they’re calling it this week) is also pretty cookie-cutter when it comes to food, especially now that Kinder’s BBQ has bailed. About the tastiest tidbits you can find these days at the concessions are the Kalua Pork Nachos – tender shredded pork with chips, guacamole, and jalapeños, served up in a miniature A’s batting helmet. And hey, who doesn’t love a mini batting helmet?
SMOTHERED FRENCH FRIES
This is a staple at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago. To make it at home, make some French Fries and top it with the various ingredient themes which include Greek, Irish, Buffalo Chicken, and the Caribbean.
BBQ BURGER
These are served at plenty of stadiums including Kauffman Stadium. What do you need to make it? A burger patty (preferably ground at home from your fave steak), your fave cheese – Cheddar, of course, pulled pork, onion rings, and a smothering of your favorite BBQ Sauce.
DONUT BURGER
These are supplied by Aramark, so you may see them at places outside of Baseball stadiums, but you can definitely find them at the Phillies home base. To make them, all you need is burger patties, glazed donuts, cherry pepper jam, American cheese, and bacon.
