Celebrity chefs, as they are called, become instant stars in their own right. And most of them do not mind to be referred to. It’s just like whipping the cream for an exciting topping. We have television hosts showing us their latest moves in the kitchen, cook book authors who that share with us some of their favorite dishes, and cooking personalities who can be profane, profound, or prolific.
Still, is being a celebrity chef a sure fire-way to millions? Maybe. It depends on how good the chef is in attracting customers, or how innovative his/her culinary business concept is. There is a popular but painful notion exists – most of these chefs do not even work in the kitchen anymore.
It does make us wonder just how much money these people earn. Excluding the likes of Alton Brown, the list of successful chefs in the industry today does make for an interesting trivia. The list includes some non-American chefs who carved their niches in the US, as well as having their own shows here.
