It seems like the last few episodes of Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives will be the last we’ll ever see.
That is, if Food Network has its way with things. Based on what the Page Television and Video Productions Inc. (the company that produces the show), they still have two more seasons to go, but the New York-based TV network has decided not to renew the contract.
While I am no fan of the show, it does sound depressing for those who love watching it. Guy Fieri is a charming guy, but from the way things looked, he would not be the host of this show any longer. The details are sketchy as of the moment, but this may have something to do with Food Network deciding to axe the program. Of course, this does not sit well with the production company, who is now filing a court case against Food Network.
For the countless fans of the show, this may be a good time to start recording your favorite episodes. Still, there are other shows that you can watch. If Guy is all you are looking for, then the other shows can do the job.
