Kelly Strum spent most of her childhood in Moran’s Restaurant & Catering being the daughter of its owner and general manager. She has started working when she was still 16 years old. Despite her family being very hands-on in managing their business, her true love and passion for animals gave her the courage to squeeze in working for Morrison Animal Inn and Chelsea Animal Hospital.
Kelly is currently Moran’s Assistant Manager, working behind the bar, which she has only begun doing a few years ago. Being the head mixologist, Kelly is the brain behind all the new and authentic cocktail flavors and mixes that Moran’s is pushing out in their amazing menu.
The past few days, we’ve featured popular alcoholic beverages from Moran’s Restaurant & Catering. Today will be totally different, since Kelly is sharing her recipe for her “B&B Eggnog Latte,” a popular dessert drink at the restaurant. It is definitely the perfect ending to an awesome meal at Moran’s for it is both hearty and comforting.
B&B Eggnog Latte
1/3 cup of milk
2/3 cup of eggnog
1.5 oz of brewed espresso
nutmeg for garnish
1. Pour the milk and eggnog into a steaming cup and steam using the steaming wand.
2. Brew the espresso and put in a mug.
3. Pour the steamed mixture into the mug reserving the foam for last.
4. Garnish with nutmeg.
