It is amazing how such an unassuming piece of food could provide such nutrients for the human body. A single egg can provide as much as 75 calories to the body, not to mention that it is also a rich source of proteins, calcium, Vitamins A and B complex, and is one of the few foods naturally rich in Vitamin D. Taken in moderation, eggs can serve as a filling and healthy supplement to many people who eat them.
And while some health buffs and vegetarians denounce the health risks raised by eggs, the fact remains that this is one of the most reliable sources of nutrition for people. Even since prehistoric times, the value of eggs in satiating hunger cannot be ignored.
Eggs are also amazingly versatile when it comes to cooking. The only problem is that once it is cooked, it is almost impossible to make any corrections. Unlike soups, where adding water can reduce saltiness, an over-salted fried egg up can be considered a disaster. Still, cooking eggs can be seen as a form of comfort food. Boiled eggs, for one, although others would go for more elaborate dishes. Eggs benedict would be a good example, while there are those who would smack their lips while eating chorizo scrambled eggs. For a spicier take, scrambled eggs in tomato curry would be a good idea.
Regardless of preferences, eggs are an amazing ingredient to cook.
