Let’s get to know her better and share her passion for food through this quick interview we had with her.
Tell us a bit about what you do.
Photographer, recipe developer, food blogger.
What’s the best meal you’ve had recently and where did you have it?
Actually, it was pie from Mom’s Apple Pie in Leesburg, VA. They make fantastic pie with flaky crust, and they try to source as much of the fruit locally as possible and even grow their own. It’s a great pie shop.
What’s the most exotic food you’ve ever tried?
I ate alligator, emu, kangaroo, and snake while traveling in Australia.
Do you have a favorite celebrity chef or TV show featuring food?
I’m particularly fond of Rick Bayless’ cooking and his books.

What’s your favorite thing about FriendsEAT?
I enjoy the blog!
Anything else you’d like the FriendsEAT community to know about you?
I worked overseas for eight years and traveled in 23 countries, sampling many different foods along the way. My family and I are working on turning our back yard into an edible landscape with fruit and nut trees and bushes and raised beds for vegetables and herbs.
