On Food and Television (Tuesday Edition)
Food is great, and so is watching TV. Put these two together and you’re bound to have an entertaining night. A lot of stuff is happening on TV, and it would be a shame not to know what the latest drama unfolding in the kitchen is. For today, here’s the shows that you better not miss:
Cake Boss: Snooki, Super Anthony, & a Ship (Tuesday at 8 p.m., TLC)
Buddy’s out on a trip to get inspiration for a nautical-themed cake. Watch as he and his kitchen crew get set to prepare another masterpiece of sweetness. Oh, and by the way, did I mention a Jersey celebrity stopping by the shop to order a cake?
Ultimate Cake Off: Really Sweet 16 (Tuesday at 6 p.m., TLC)
Watch as three seasoned cake decorators battle it out in a Sweet Sixteen-themed party. Which cake will be declared the winner, and I wonder who will get the $10,000 cash price? Excited?
Bizarre Foods with Andrew Simmern: Bolivia (Tuesday at 7 a.m., The Travel Channel)
Watch as Andrew Zimmern travels to Boliva to savor its local fare. See him relish on bull peis soup, fish carpaccio and mochochinchi (a delicacy tht roghly translates as booger juice). Not for the faint-hearted, but this is definitely a show to watch. Who knows what you migh learn.
Man vs. Food: Charleston (Tuesday at 8 a.m., The Travel Channel)
Adam Richman is at it again. This time, the challenger of food stops by in Charleston. He might be getting more than wha he bargained foe, since he’s going to try oysters sered by the shovel, fried chicken sandwich with thick sausage gravy, and, as his challenge, a heap of spicy tuna sushi.
Paula’s Home Cooking: Sunday Brunch (Tuesday at 6 p.m., the Food Network)
Paula Deen shows us how the simple joys of Sunday cooking. Watch her as she shows us the different dishes tha can be prepared with
