There really seems to be no end to what celebrities can do to promote themselves (or even the other way around). We’ve seen one going into the nude to support animal rights, one had a milk mustache to promote drinking milk, someone had her pictures slapped on bottled water, and one with a really sad look as he promoted a company on TV.
Even hotdogs are not spared of the hype.
Really, it’s interesting to know just how far hotdog makers and sellers would go just to market their products. Hotdogs are pretty much the bestsellers of any diner, mom and pop, and other places where you can grab a quick bite. Now, just imagine the face or name of your favorite star is on the menu. I supposed you would be more than interested to buy.
Now who are these celebrities that got their names in the dogs?
Tiger Wood (Tiger Homewrecker) – 12″ all beef Nathan’s hot dog stuffed with cheese, wrapped with bacon, and topped with chili, onions, and more cheese.
Charlie Sheen (The Charlie Dog) ” it is your usual long hotdog sandwich, but this time with Tiger Blood (a hot sauce that is guaranteed to leave you steaming).
Ozzy Osbourne (The Ozzy Spicy Dog) – Spicy Polish Dog topped with nacho cheese, merican cheese, grilled onions, guacamole and chopped tomatoes.
Rosie O’Donnell (Rosie O’Donnell Long Island Dog) – 10″ Stretch Dog topped with mustard, onions, chili, and sauerkraut. One of the most special Pink’s hot dogs that invaded San Diego.
Martha Stewart (Martha Stewart Dog) ” 10″ Stretch Dog topped with relish, onions, bacon, chopped tomatoes, sauerkraut, and sour cream.
It is only a sample of celebrities that lent their names to the food. Although we have been told to stay away from these guaranteed artery blockers, probably a bite or two every week would not be so bad. Consider buying these hotdogs as a treat to satisfy your hunger for meat.
