Here’s a video of Rick Hall, an ASU nutritionist, appearing on FOX in Phoenix, AZ. Referencing the odd cornucopia of food items on the table in front of him, Rick talks about several common impressions we all have about certain foods, and how we’re just a little bit- or maybe a whole lot- off the mark.
He tackles fat, bananas, nuts, microwave popcorn, pasta (specifically whole grain), coffee and tea, protein supplement powder, juices, and calories. That’s a lot for a five and a half minute spot.
It’s a quick-and-dirty rundown of some basics that we should all know but don’t. Plus, the co-host with the gray hair has the most infectious laugh I’ve ever heard.
