For Gordon Ramsay, things are not looking very well, when it comes to legal matters.
Celebrated Chef Ramsay, with 12 Michelin stars under his belt already, is one of the biggest names in the culinary scene. Part of his popularity is his flamboyance, artistry, plus a healthy dose of profanity when he goes about managing his kitchens. His presence in TV shows and other programs has, in effect, endeared or estranged viewers to him.
But that does not stop his mother-in-law, Greta Hutcheson, from filing a case against Ramsay. The charges came in the wake of misunderstandings that has hounded the celebrity chef. It started when he fired his father-in-law, Chris Hutcheson, from his company, then his brother-in-law and then the grandson. The charges were unfair dismissal, a breach of working time regulations, failure to pay redundancy monies and breach of contract. This is also the same charges the two latest members of the Hutcheson family filed after they were fired.
This long-standing feud has affected the families of both parties. In Ramsay’s case, both his wife and children could no longer meet with their mother anymore. Despite the chef’s attempts for reconciliation (even just for his wife and the kids), it seems that all the bridges has been burned by the Mrs. Hutcheson. The rift was too severe to make anything happen.
This is not the first case that was filed against Ramsay. Earlier, Chris Hutcheson filed a case against him for unjust dismissal. This was due to the dramatic sacking that Ramsay did to him after helping him expand what is now a very profitable culinary empire all these years. The mud-slinging looks ugly, with argument and counter-argument being thrown constantly around.
