Palate for palate, he directs you to the best pairs the restaurant could offer. Choose from the wine list of over 2000 selection of wines from France to California. The list offers a great variation of prices, region and styles; depth of vintages; cuisine symbiosis; fairness of mark-ups; and the simple fact that it serves the main purpose of complementing well with the chef’s cuisine as well as standing bravely on its own.

*Otto is a classic Italian pizzeria owned and run by Chef Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich. What seems like an ordinary pizza parlor for others is a sipping haven for many wine lovers in New York. Otto hosts an hour-and-a-half wine class every weekend at 2pm in the enoteca. Otto’s wine director, Victor Pinkston and the restaurant’s sommeliers will lead the class each week, offering specific classes for different elements one must know about wines. There’s the “discovery class,” which is all about the wine-making basics and introduction to Italian wine-producing regions and local producers. “Regional classes” talks about a specific wine region or a particular type of wine.
