Thanks to Sideways, Pinot Noir has become one of the most popular grapes in the USA. Unfortunately for wine consumers, a lot of the Pinot being produced is sub par, laced with other grapes (fine as long as it is discussed), or ridiculously overpriced. It’s a pleasure to find a bottle that expresses the reason the US wine market has grown to love America’s favorite grape. Adler Fels Pinot Noir is one of these great examples of not just varietally correct Pinot Noir, but also super tasty wine.

Review Adler Fels Pinot Noir 2014
This is a lovely California Pinot Noir is gentle with a lovely nose. As a proper Pinot Noir, it has notes of cherriesvanilla, and tobacco. It’s got great acidity and does not let the fruit overpower the rest of the flavors in the bottle.
2014 Adler Fels Pinot Noir Pairings
The 2014 Adler Fels Pinot Noir would be lovely with a charcuterie plate during a Spring picnic. It would also work quite well with a grilled salmon or beef bourguignon.
