Andrea Correale is one of the finest caterers in New York. The Elegant Affairs empire she has established had a very humble beginning right in her childhood home, where her mother, Marie Correale, taught her how to design a table beautifully on any budget. At the tender age of 16, Andrea created an “event staff for hire” company in Long Island.
After graduating with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management at NYIT, she established Elegant Affairs” a full service off-premise catering and event planning empire. She has served some of the most descerning palates such as Mariah Carey, Kevin Spacey, Mitt Romney, Jimmy Fallon, and Ivana Trump. Andrea has also graced different TV programs on Bravo, VH1, MTV, FOX and CBS.
Since St. Patrick’s Day is fast approaching, we asked Andrea for a recipe she can share for this fun and quirky event. She handed us her recipe for “St. Patrick’s Day Mojito,” and from then, we knew we have a winning recipe!
St. Patrick’s Day Mojito
1 Tablespoon Fresh Lime Juice
4 Fresh Mint Leaves
2 Teaspoons Sugar
1/2 Cup brewed and chilled Green Tea
1 ounce white rum
1. In a zombie glass, muddle the lime juice, mint and sugar together until the leaves are lightly bruised.
2. Add ice until the glass is almost full
3. Pour in the rum and green tea. Stir. Enjoy!
