Boy, how I love parodies. This time around, the popular evening cartoon show South Park is going against the Food Network. This show is definitely a good one, and will make tomorrow night a belly-rolling, laugh-out-loud experience.
In the show entitled Crème Fraiche, Stan’s dad, Randy, has become addicted to the Food Network. This is causing a problem for Stan because it’s pulling his family apart. This makes for a hilarious episode as the characters try to find ways to make Randy change his viewing habits.
In a nod to what the show is about, the South Park episode will be aired at ten o’ clock. That’s scheduled to coincide with the Food Network’s Top Chef: Just Desserts finale. This will really make a rush for the viewers who like both shows Well, if you have a DVR, then it wouldn’t really be a problem at all.
This just shows how funny the show can be. It can poke fun on the most boring topics, and the subsequent complaints from it only serves as fuel for the author to make more. They’ve made a lot of parodies and spoofs on famous figures that it won’t really come as a surprise if Alton Brown and Guy Fieri end up at the receiving end of the kids’ wrath. I just can’t wait for the show to start.
