The Park at the Domain is a sports-focused American food spot on the ground level of the Aloft hotel with lots of TVs (over 40!) and a busy bar. We had a chance to talk to their general manager, Luis Botello, who shared with us a few tidbits about the restaurant, their food, concept, and business philosophy. Here’s what we learned:
FriendsEAT: Tell us a little something about your restaurant.
Luis Botello: Established in 2011, The Park is not your run-of-the-mill sports bar. The Park caters to both sports fans and foodies alike by offering guests a place to watch professional and collegiate sports on high definition screens, while dining on scratch-made provisions, local craft beers and specialty cocktails.

Over 40 high-definition TVs at The Park makes sure you don’t miss a single second of your favorite game!
FE: What is your restaurant philosophy? Is there something that everyone strives for with each action taken at your restaurant?
Luis: The Park is all about giving people a place to relax, hangout and enjoy the tastier things in life. Whether you’re coming in to catch the big game with your pals or enjoying $1 mimosas with the whole crew during Sunday brunch, The Park is all about sports, food and fun!
FE: What makes you stand out above the rest?
Luis: In addition to being an ideal place to grab a bite and watch the game, The Park continues to distinguish itself from other sports bars by hosting a number of unique events throughout the week and an unparalleled weekend brunch.

Corn Flake Chicken Tacos
FE: What is your most popular dish? Why do people love it?
Luis: The Corn Flake Chicken Tacos are definitely a best seller. Made with spicy-sweet corn flake fried chicken, homemade shredded coleslaw, and topped with a mango-chili cream sauce, people love this dish because it offers a new spin on the same old, same old chicken taco.

Mex on Fire: ghost pepper-infused Corzo Tequila with a splash of yummy goodness!
FE: And what is the one cocktail your bartender loves to make?
Luis: Our bartenders love to whip up the Mex on Fire. This unique cocktail is made with ghost pepper infused Corzo Silver tequila, pomegranate juice, lime juice and agave nectar.
FE: Do you offer any deals such as happy hour specials, brunches, etc?
Luis: Happy Hour runs Monday to Friday at 04:00PM ” 08:00PM and Saturday 11:00AM ” 8:00PM. Our Sunday Brunch runs from 11:00AM ” 05:00PM, featuring a $16 brunch buffet, $1 mimosas and $5 build-your-own bloody mary bar.
