According to the Center for Gaming Research at the University of Nevada, casino revenues on the Vegas strip dropped for 22 straight months during the last recession, and the city became the unofficial foreclosure capital of the U.S.
In the 1990’s, Las Vegas adopted a more family-friendly atmosphere to attract business, but now new nightclubs have been driving business to Vegas during the last five or six years.
As a result, of the 10 highest money-making clubs in the United States, seven of them are in Las Vegas. And the Las Vegas Strip has also exploded with five-star dining.
