I recently had a chance to taste the 2015 Adler Fels Eagle Rock Chardonnay. It had been a while since I had drank California Chardonnay since I’ve been on a Burgundy kick. Gotta tell you, the change was welcome. The wine was balanced and worth its price point. Let’s break down the tasting notes on this lovely wine.

2015 Adler Fels Eagle Rock Chardonnay Review
If you like a Chardy that’s soft and creamy, you’ll love the 2015 Alder Fels Eagle Rock Chardonnay. The wine is varietaly correct, unmistakably Cali Chardy, but does not hit you over the head with oak. There is a nice combination of fruit and creaminess.
It smells and tastes like mangoes and marzipan. There is a good amount of acidity that makes you want to swallow and makes the wine way more interesting than if it were just fruit and oak. There’s even a dash of tangerine like citrus.
2015 Adler Fels Eagle Rock Chardonnay Pairings
This Chardonnay would be a perfect match for a mussel and fennel salad or salmon with vegetables.
