Very good food....Excellent Service.

In town for the MCM marathon and found this place close to the hotel. The pizza was awesome and the atmosphere great. The staff and local customers were welcoming and made us feel right a home. I would recommend to anyone and will be returning for chow and beer next time we are in the area

Being the second review, I need to completely offset the only review that is 1-star and just because it took over 90-min to deliver a pizza when you live 1 block away. I can't speak for delivery since I also live quite close, but I always eat-in or take-out from here since I don't just sit in my room playing videogames all day. If you want Pizza delivery, just go get Dominos or Papa John'sAnyway... for a real review: This place used to be a location of Cafe Pizzaiolo (main one is in Fairlington). Since the change in hands, the menu has expanded, classed-up (you can get some pretty awesome sweet potato fries now), and overall changed for the better. They have a decent beer and wine selection with competitive prices, and I have never been disappointed by this place. Being from Philly with a Fiance from NJ, that says a lot. In the NOVA area, we feel it is hard to find a good Italian/Pizza shop type places that fits -your usual Friday Night spot- from back at home. Truly a neighborhood gem, and worth getting off your couch to go grab a beer and a pizza or sandwich.

This is a place worth investing some time. Warm and welcoming...had the special 12 inch New York pie with mushrooms and peppers. Good crust, but could have been a little crisper in the center. Fresh ingredients, not wild about the cheese. All in all I ate the whole thing, it was money well spent. I think with a little tweaking they will do well.

Definitely could have cooked the pizza at a higher temperature, added MORE cheese, improve QUALITY of cheese, not charge for substitutions of toppings, and get a better gluten free crust that is also thinner. The middle of the pizza was a little doughy. The beers on tap were great and that is the only thing that made the experience OK.

Good pizza, but horrible service. Still waiting on two pizzas ordered 90 min ago. We've called three times and each time they said the pizza was out for delivery. I live one block away. And this isn't the first bad experience.

Horrible service and the new owner didn't seem to care about talking about his beer on tap. He was kind of a rude guy, surprising. We ordered two beers and were immediately ignored for 25 minutes. We were going to eat, but ignored again for about 20 minutes. They didn't seem to care one way or another. We could've walked out without paying, I am convinced we would've been ignored doing that as well. Awful experience.
