Amazing food, service, and entertainment. Lots of wine options. The medallions are to die for and the cappuccino pie is AMAZING (as pictured). Seriously soooo good. There was an awesome pianist and saxophonist performing. Great for a date night or birthday dinner or something like that.

Excellent service and food. This place has been in Arlington ever since I can remember. We do make reservations as it does get crowded. The bar looks nice too.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5

We tried for our monthly celebration and was super pleased. Jacob was our server and helped provide a perfect experience. The food was fantastic and served at a nice relaxing pace so we could enjoy ourselves and not feel rushed. Loved the music. If you are looking for a romantic place for a date, this is it

Hands down one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to!! My boyfriend and I absolutely loved it. The staff was amazing. My water glass was always being filled with out asking.... and (me not being a big wine drinker) asked for a recommendation for a fruity wine and the server brought out a great suggestion. The food was delicious! We will definitely be going back for another date night.

We recently visited Piccolo Mondo (to dine-in) for the first time since the pandemic. It's so nice to see that some things don't change! The same waitstaff were there, providing their usual level of gruff, but efficient old-world service. The food was great, as always. They still have some of the best lasagna in the metroplex! Warm bread and crisp, cold salads were an excellent start to our meal. They still have a full bar and an impressive, but approachable wine list. Our cocktails were excellent...my martini (hands-down!) beat the one I just had at an expensive steakhouse in Dallas! The restaurant was very busy, and completely full when we left at 7:30pm. It was heartening to see folks turning-out to support a local business - and have a wonderful dining experience. Surprisingly, I had forgotten about their live music, which just made the already warm and inviting environment all the more special. We're so happy to still have Picolo Mondo offering upscale Italian dining in North Arlington!

Found by way of Google search. So glad I tried them. The hostess was friendly. Fernando our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. The stuffed mushrooms were yummy. My friend had the salmon, spinach and potatoes in a lemon butter sauce. I had spinach ravioli marinara. I tried both dishes and they were delicious. The salmon was succulent and the potatoes and sauce were amazing. I enjoyed the ravioli and the fresh Parmesan cheese was a nice addition. The fresh bread yummy and the minestrone soup was hearty. The dessert was amazing. Great ambiance and the service was amazing. I'll definitely visit again.

The lobster bisque is only on the menu occasionally but if it's there you absolutely need to get it. This place is a little expensive but absolutely worth it.

New restaurant try in restaurant week. The appetizer part especially the raw beef dish was delicious. The snails, mushrooms and shrimps are also great! The portion of the beef for the main meal was super juicy and soft. The angel hair dish was delicious, but tasted very similar to the appetizer. The salmon sauce is great!

I planned to come for dinner. I called in advance to confirm if they had gluten free pasta available, which I successfully confirmed as true, but when I actually got to the restaurant my waiter flat out said that they didn't have gluten free pasta. So I asked him to check for me, just in case, and lo and behold they did have gluten free pasta. Imagine if I listened the first time.I wish the menu had more of a description for more dishes, I don't eat Italian too often, so I had to Google the titles of the dishes to get a feel for what they actually were. Also, there's no designated gluten free menu online or on site.I got the Gamberi alla Marinara, which came with an iceberg quality salad (if you know what I mean). When my entree came out, the shrimp was perfection, but the sauce was underwhelming as well as the portion of pasta. Not sure if it was worth the money or if I'll be coming back again. The atmosphere and the live music was nice.

With a great review that I saw, I decided to try this restaurant. The set up was cute, the music was excellent BUT the service and the food we got was horrible. We got a bottle of wine and ordered some appetizers, and a fettuccine dinner. I love calamari, and I know how calamari looks & taste. I ordered the fried calamari and what I got is what I attached in the picture. when we asked the waiter, he said it is calamari strips. Then why did he offered us fried calamari? Even McDonald's chicken patty taste better. It was all bread and flour, I did not taste any calamari and I paid $17 for that appetizer. We were there for almost 2 hours, Slowly eating our appetizers and WAITING for our dinner plate. When asked, the waiter said that he didn't think we were ready for the dinner, and that we should asked for the dinner to come along with the appetizer. And he was loud. Then the manager comes up asking us what happened, we told him that our dinner is not out, while the table next to us which came way after us have their dinner before we did. And that's it he just came to ask what went on.In summary, I will not return to this place it is not worth spending a lot of money on a small joint like this. The menu is high priced (which I didn't mind if the food was good and the service was good ) and the quality of food is not there, including the service.Kudos to the piano & Saxophone players they were awesome. If I ever do go back there it will be for a glass of wine and listen to the piano.
