The pasta is AMAZING. Everythingwe had was fresh and tasty. We especially loved the ravioli San Leo. The chocolate cake was ridiculously good. The restaurant is beautiful and romantic. The service was on par. I’d love to eat here again!

Maddie was our waiter and she was very nice and knowledgable about the food. She helped my friend replace her salad's dressing. The salad originally had too much blue cheese. The chery dressing was awesome and fresh. It got a little cold inside at dinner.

I first tried Sfoglina when a friend got me a birthday cake from them! :') As a self-proclaimed cake connoisseur, their chocolate hazelnut is one of the absolute best! I l-o-v-e Sfoglina! I finally was able to dine-in a few months back on Christmas Eve and we tasted many different pastas - one of my favs was the squid ink! Absolutely delicious desserts- try the hazelnut chocolate cake! The restaurant is beautiful and at the top of my list! It's a permanent dinner location every time I'm in DC!

Frutti di mare had phenomenal flavour. Make sure to save room for dessert. The seasonal sorbet was very fresh and a great way to finish off the meal.

Simply wonderful. Me and a buddy did the pasta experience and while very intimate for two friends in can hold up to six and the experience made it all worth while. We had a great conversation over wonderful food. This is a new concept they are trying and the Rosslyn team is nailing it. Go today and try their pasta experience.

Very tasty food, especially pasta, great service, very nice latino-american waitress who was very helpful. We also drank some great cocktails, recommended by her coleage.Parking: Parking is available in front of the restaurant, but it's a public street parking.

Great place for pastas! Came here Sunday for dinner—we had reservations and were seated right away. The restaurant inside is super cute, and has a romantic feel to it. The service was exceptional here!We opted for the “Pasta Tasting of 3” to get a variety of pastas to try: Pappardelle, Spirulina Garganelli Vongole and Squid Ink Paccheri. The squid ink dish was our favorite, the other two pastas were a bit too citrusy. All three pastas were reasonable portions—definitely enough for 2 people. The bartender made this Watermelon Mint Vodka cocktail—it was delicious!! I do wish it had a bit more vodka in it, tasted more on the juice side.

Delicious. Portions could have been larger. The pasta with smoked mozzarella was flavorful and filling. Highly recommend the warm rosemary bread appetizer with whipped ricotta. Tiramisu is delicious. Good service. It was a little loud where we were sitting, but a nice atmosphere.Dine in: Yes

We found out about Sfoglina from searching Michelin Bib Gourmand awardees online. Bib Gourmand is the Michelin award that emphasizes “value-for-money” award and that great food doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag! We were in.We started off with a glass of wine each, Build Your Own Mozarella bar: burrata and artichokes. For entree I ordered the Braised Beef Agnolotti del Plin; it was perfect. Melt-in-your mouth delicious! My husband ordered the Papardelle - he loved it as well and halfway through we switched plates.Picture not included - Rosemary Bread; really good.Finished off with the Piemontese Chocolate Gianduja Cake; chocolate ganache and hazelnuts = A MUST.The experience may have dampened because on my reservation I had indicated outdoor dining and came with that expectation. Upon arrival the patio wasn’t set up for outdoor dining, our server brought a lamp which went out within 10 min and no music outdoors. This could’ve really elevated the dining experience but the food is good worth it although depending on what subjectively is considered value-for-money our bill was close to $200 after tip for the items pictured below + rosemary bread and 2 glasses of wine which was more than I expected considering the Bib Gourmand badge.Either way - if you enjoy pasta and good wine then I would recommend this place!

I'm glad we had reservations for outdoor seating because the weather was absolutely gorgeous when we went. Sfoglina in Rosslyn can be hard to spot if you're new to the area, but the location overall is easy to get to. There's some street parking and also a parking garage right around the corner (in the same building the restaurant is in). There's limited space in the garage though. Remember to take your ticket with you so you can get it validated! When you make your reservation, you'll have to put $25 per person, which they do charge to your card. You'll receive a refund when you get to your reservation (or if you cancel more than 24 hrs prior). The restaurant itself is very very cute inside. Great ambiance with dim lighting, cute decor, and a well maintained outdoor space. We were greeting promptly by the hostess and didn't have to wait for our 7:15 reservation. Inside it seemed like it could get a little loud but outside it was very very quiet, perfect for conversations. I came with a friend, but honestly this would be an excellent date spot. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and nice an helped guide us through the menu. You get complimentary bread with olive oil - that bread was delicious We ordered some mozzarella bar items (burrata and charred sweet peppers) as starters. It went perfectly with the bread. For entree, I chose the mafalde telefono, which was good - the pasta had the perfect chew. It was underseasoned for me, but Italian food typically is. A bit more salt would have made it perfect and this review 5 stars. For dessert, we got tiramisu to share and it was also good - very rich and creamy, you could tell they used real mascarpone and not a combo of it w/heavy or whipped cream.Price-wise, I felt it was a little overpriced. It was $12 for a little round of burrata and another $12 for some sliced, sautéed peppers. Our app came out to $24 and I didn't feel it was worth it. The pasta I ordered was $28, and I understand that pricing given it's made in house but portion felt a little small plus there was no meat or protein with it (although portion was perfect for me, those with larger appetites would probably need two entrees to feel satisfied). I might just be comparing this to Filomena though just bc they make their pastas in house too. Dessert I think it priced well ($13), the portions are shareable, at least for the tiramisu.Knocking down that star honestly was a combination of the entree, price point, and one other thing - although service overall was good, there was a whole 30 mins between when we finished our entree and when we could flag someone down for dessert. I was getting antsy and trying hard to make eye contact with the waitresses/waiters/servers on the other end of the outdoor space. We were catching up and I know most places are short staffed so it wasn't THAT big of a deal, but 30 minutes is a really long time. It was another 20+ minutes between when we put in the dessert order and when we received it. This pushed us close to their closing time and they were nice enough to let us continue to chitchat. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would come back for a date. Just a couple things to iron out service wise.
