I get take out here quite often. It's what you expect of Chinese-American food. My food always comes out the way I expect; they're very consistent on that. They give good sized portions, typically enough for me to have two full meals! They're also quick to have my food ready for me. Sure, the ladies that work the register aren't super friendly, but they do the job quick, and do it right. I've dined in and got actual plates. I've never seen other customers get paper plates either.

I'll be honest, as a well traveled person and I spent almost a year in SE Asia for work, Sichuan Wok was as close to the genuine Asian food I got during my Asian travels. It was never that 'American-Chinese' food you get with other restaurants, which is what made it so great. Yesterday I found out they are closed permanently and I'm a little disappointed that my favorite lunch place is now closed and not because they went out of business. I hope they plan to open again sometime in the future and hopefully in same general vicinity.

One of the better Chinese take-out restaurants in the area. A good amount of seating too. Also skeptical though when the food takes under 10 minutes to be served... Can't go wrong with the Signapore Noodles!

The food is pretty decent but a bit too salty on some dishes. I don't think the manager knew that we could speak Chinese and understand what she was saying to the cooks. My dad had ordered chow mein (noodles). The lady tried to convince us not to get it, but my dad insisted. Later, she was standing in the kitchen and ranting to the cook about how persistent my dad was to order chow mein. The building was pretty small, so we could hear everything. When we got the dish, it had no noodles, only meat and vegetables. We didn't mind that much though, since the food was great.

When I order Chinese take-out, it's usually from Sichuan Wok. I always get vegetable lo mein, and I find it to be pretty tasty. The one time I tried something different (vegetable pan-fried noodles), it was terrible, so I'll definitely be sticking to the tried-and-true. But overall, generally pretty decent delivery times and consistent food.

I'm writing to point out that many of these reviews have clearly been written by people who have never been to this restaurant. I eat there all the time, and have never encountered any of the experiences that are described in some of the reviews. One says that they were greeted at the door--never, they're too busy. One said that people only get take out--nonsense. When you read these reviews, beware the ones that are extreme either way: they are often fake. BTW the restaurant is pretty good.

My wife and I visited this location. The food is decent and the location has really good portion sizes. I wouldn't have scored Sichuan Wok lower than a 5 had it been for the service. The short haired, older lady up front is pretty rude, short and doesn't smile at all. If the customer service with that one interaction matched the food then we would be having a different post right now.

We sat down here after flying into D.C. The dishes were huge, but to my taste too much oil and fat was added. Everything was shiny and glittery. For the price the quality was fine, and the portions huge (we took home at least a full size meal for everyone that had ordered).

The food is actually pretty good. The main issue I notice while I was there waiting for my dinner was that Asian lady with short hair working the register was very rude and she seems like she didn't want to be there I thought it was just me but after a while I while I was sitting eating I notice she didn't smile once towards me or PAYING CUSTOMER who walked in there, but what really bother me is how people would say thank you, and she wouldn't reply she just kind of nods and calls out who is next. I thought she was having a bad day but I have had lunch there in past before and she acted exactly the same way. This will be the last time I ever eat here. This is not the only Chinese restaurant in the area.

No. Just don't. Everything I've had here was not just underwhelming, but bad. Their -lo mein- side is literally just fried noodles, their wonton soup was so spicy I couldn't even finish it, and the orange chicken was so chewy I lost my appetite. I had it delivered so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere, but honestly the food quality made it not worth finding out. Don't waste your money!
