Don't be fooled by the shabby exterior! Inside, Domenico DeMarco works magic into every single pie that he makes, and every slice you eat will have your palate crying out for more - guaranteed! He uses 3 different kinds of cheese (including heavenly mozzarella di bufala), tomatoes imported from his hometown in Italy, and makes his crusts perfection. If you come, get the baby artichoke on a square pie, or porcini mushrooms, roasted peppers and sausage! Not only will you get the best pizza in New York (and the world, in my opinion), you'll get to watch Dom prepare every pie himself, move his pies around the oven with his heat-resistant fingers, sprinkle parmigiano reggiano and cut fresh basil on the fresh pies. Yum!
This place is a neighborhood favorite and a Zagat rated gem. Slices go for $3 each ($4 with topping), pies around $23. You might have to wait awhile for your pizza, but the food is definitely worth it.

    Enjoy!
