Have been going there for a little more that a year. Once or twice a week. The food is prepared very well, and the service is always good to excellent. They have good size portions and the price is a very good at all times. They have a standard menu, and daily specials also. I recomend this place to everybody

This is by far the best place for steak and prime rib in the Fox Valley. Any steak I have gotten here you can practically cut with just your fork. Another thing that really sets them apart is there soup and salad bar, especially the clam chowder. Even though it is not self serve, they still give out very good portions of everything, it is almost a meal in and of itself.

Upon entering was greeted by the friendly hostess who took our name and number in party. Handing me menus to look at while we waited to be seated. Short time later our server came and asked if we were ready to order, and then said she would seat us. After our said our main course arrived, sizzling hot and cooked PERFECTLY. Very very good service and food. Only thing that could make it better would be a cocktail waitress in the waiting/bar area. DEFINITELY GOING BACK.

Had a great meal with a bunch of friends. Wait staff was very nice. Began with the soup and salad bar which was a good start and for the main course I chose the queen cut prime rib which you can see by the photo is anything but small. Plenty for leftovers the next day.

Absolutely phenomenal Supper Club. There's a reason people from not only the state, but across the country come to this establishment.I ordered the "queen cut" Prime rib, which was a 32 ounce cut. That's 2 pounds of meat on your plate! Trust me, I'm a big eater and I couldn't finish the first 10 ounce.Also the Salad bar was *chef kiss It's all you can eat for salad and soup, and they make your custom salad right in front of you. Everything was fresh and you get almost every condiment under the sun.Worth every penny and you'll leave with left-overs, I guarantee it. ????Parking: Parking is available along the train tracks, and on city street in front of the building.

This is the go to for us. It's a hard choice between Black Otter and the Pine Tree but man the black otter does steaks like no one else. I ended up trying the ribs and holy cow where they good and HUGE. The half rack is big the full is a beast. Hands down, best Prime Rib I’ve ever had. Salad bar was phenomenal. Nothing negative to say about our experience here. The wait was well worth the quality and the service was second to none. We will definitely be back!

Had to try this place after I heard rave reviews by a family member. Considering it was a busy Friday night, we got a table within 25 minutes of our arrival. The salad bar is good with a variety of toppings. They have liver pate, one of my favorites but the texture was different from what I expected. Had to try the potato puffs which were light on the inside, crispy on the outside. The queen prime rib was huge and delicious.

Drinks and food were great. Service was warm, welcoming and consistent. Bluegill (pictured) was good. Only small disappointmemt was in the serving size of the potatoes puffs. Seems like everyone that ordered fries or skins got a heaping pile and puffs you only get 6 that are the size of a green olive.It would be nice to get the self service salad bar back but I get it with covid and everything lingering. I just imagine the 3-4 employees working the salad bar could be so much more useful being utilized as servers or busers.Features: Salad bar served behind glass from employees.

I'm absolutely in love with this place's prime rib. I got the king cut which is a 72oz and it was some of the best prime I've ever had. The service was amazing, and all the sides (mashed taters and clam chowder) were to die for as well. The price was the best part. I look forward to coming back and trying the rest of their menu.Recommended dishes
