All I can say is: Wow! Liberty was the location of our wedding and my God, I will always be grateful for choosing them! Our wedding was PERFECT in every way (even after waiting two years). I really mean it when I say that ALL of the staff from front desk to waiters to housekeeping and wedding staff are amazing and I loved working with each of them.

After learning more, it seems like this place is really keen to host as many events as possible to earn $$ in its offseason without necessarily offering the same personal attention as other venues. This place is one of the best in the area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you stay a few days you won't regret it. Beautiful complex. A lot to do. It is in a good location. While not the resort's fault, I gave this experience a star due to the pass process. Due to the lack of snow, the resort informed me of the ski closure during the period from December 24th to 25th. The hotel promptly refunded my accommodation deposit, but referred me to a third party, Vail Resorts, for a refund of the ski passes. When I called Vail, they didn't refund me.

My wife and I were impressed with the service and the feel of the resort. The property is small but it is so close to DC that it is not far for a weekend getaway. We loved it and we choose a few days to come back.
