Visited August 17, 2022 6:00PMIt completely lives up to the hype, has automatically risen to the upper echelons of my favorite haunts in Manila, and generally had unforgettable good service. Wagyu here is the wagyu you’d get in Japan, prepared medium rare (how does anyone else have it any other way?) with a melts-in-your-mouth torched taste. Their version of my favorite dish from Nobu is a fresh from Japan salmon bathed in an umami-rich tangy soy-yuzu sauce I am tempted to believe I can only ever find again here! I had the signature cocktail to wash down the generic specials: Gyoza, Gyudon, and Kobe Garlic Rice, because why not from a place crazy enough to use wagyu fat as the base of an old fashioned - ridiculous but amazing?!I’ve only just tried the Yakiniku Lounge (table dining and cocktails till closing) but I am definitely coming back for the Live Kitchen, where I am already sure the tasting menu won’t disappoint.

The quality of the wagyu here is tip top therefore don't be surprised to pay more than above average for a dinner here. Per person spent get ready to pay at least USD100 per pax and more if you've a bottle of wine and more. Friendly and attentive service from the staff in the restaurant.

Ordered dry aged wagyu 400gram. Good food but totally overpriced. Just that wagyu alone, it was already 26,000 php. Feeds two.

If you've got a craving for luscious cuts of Japanese beef, Wagyu Studio doesn't disappoint. I shared an order of the fatty A5 Kobe Beef Yakiniku, the steak sando, and wagyu gyoza with a friend. The yakiniku was expertly grilled in front of us and melted in your mouth when you bit into it. The steak sando looked good but I thought the bread let the meat down, while the gyoza was juicy and full of flavor. I'd just order an extra cut of yakiniku over the sando next time. Be prepared to spend money here - after splitting the bill we each paid about $60.

The best thing about this restaurant was our waiter. he patiently explained to us the menu and was very attentive throughout the dinner service. We wanted to try the omakase service but we were seated in the yakiniku table because my husband was not asked during reservation if he wanted to sit in the tasting menu area so he just thought it was automatic. The food itself was good. the beef was perfectly cooked and not chewy at all. the sando though was nothing special for me considering the price. my husband enjoyed the oyster

Wagyu Studio is an high-end restaurant focused on Wagyu-based dishes. It has some additional Japaness items on the menu to round it out, with an healthy drink menu to accompany. The venue is simple in design and clean, with both al fresco and indoor seating. The outdoor tables can manage small groups (2-4) but larger groups (4-6) will need to be inside. Air conditioning can be on the cold side.Service was responsive and quick.Price point and quality of food are as advertised, tending towards P600 ans above. Wagyu items are priced around P3k and up, depending on order weight.Given food quality and pricing, I'd say its suitable for special nights, dates, and treats.Amenities for toilets are offsite from the restaurant. Parking was not difficult on the day I dined, but may vary on peak times.Score is as such primarily because of personal view on the food to price/cost ratio being on the higher side.

Horrible!!!! And i came there willing to spend money so I'm not even complaining about the hefty prices (and they are hefty).Ordered their "best cut". Waiter wasn't even trained properly by management. When asked to explain their cuts, the waiter said "eto parang Jolibee burger steak" and "this one naman parang Pepper Lunch."Blasphemous words to say about prime steak in a resto charging prime rates! In what planet is it ok for a resto that charges $200-250 for their prime cuts to offer this despicable level of customer service?Oh and ordering the caviar means getting it with chicken nuggets. Whaaaat??? Someone actually sat down and thought: Oooh let's serve chicken nuggets with every order of our expensive CHINESE caviar. What in the name of anything holy...Don't ever let that person make menu decision moving forward. And it gets worse (I paid 12k for my meal, mind you) :-service water tasted icky and made my stomach hurt-no restroom inside-they took 30 minutes to process our bill. No, the resto wasn't busy and nobody was waiting for a table- after ordering their "best cut", not one member of the staff had the decency to ask how we liked the food. In a high ticket resto, this is just beyond rude- they don't balance the fatty steak with much. There's no harmony among the food.DO NOT GO. We felt pranked.
