A regular go to place for us. We live in the neighborhood and VBB is consistent in terms of food. I always get a burger with variation and my spouse gets a salad. Service is always solid. We dont usually have to wait too long for food. One of our favorites on Friday when theyre doing the $3.50 margaritas.Dine in: Yes

While in uptown a week ago, a friend and I wanted burgers so we stopped by here. We got our orders in fast and the food didnt take long to arrive. I found the quality of the food to be great and for the price they charge I really cant complain, the portion sizes were perfect too. Overall if you want burgers in uptown this is a great spot!

This place was really great. It was affordable and had good options. I wanted to write a review though for the staff because they were super helpful and made it a great experience. I can't have butter and most places tend to toast burger buns with butter. It's always an awkward question to ask but I do and then places usually still end up putting butter on anyways and I get sick. So I'm often wary of ordering burgers but I asked them this question and they were very informative and had no problem adjusting to what I asked and made me feel very confident that I didn't have to worry. And then my meal came out perfectly and it was so good. I'll definitely come back because now I feel confident that I can get a burger easily made here without butter. :)

I absolutely love the Portobello Mushroom Sandwich and Sweet Potato Fries!. Soooooo good!. I also had the Veggie Burger, and it was alright but not better than the Portobello if you ask me!. Lol, I've been craving it for a very long time so maybe I'm biased hahaha but I highly reccommend. It includes goat cheese, baby spinach, roasted red peppers, red/purple onions, and basil mayo - practically melts in your mouth ????????????.

Village Burger Bar is nestled in the West Village shopping center, which is perfectly lit at night. With lights on every tree and draped above the streets, it truly is comforting sitting outside at Village Burger Bar.The restaurant has a more neighborhood bar vibe than what I expected given the West Village shopping center itself. It has a large menu of appetizers, burgers, paninis, and more to satisfy your hunger. The restaurant has 10 or so beers on tap and also some local beers on tap.I had the a local Blood and Honey beer from Revolver Breeing Co., which was nice a cold. The bartender did leave a bigger head when pouring the pint, so I asked him to top it off again before we paid. The Dougie was my choice of burger, with cheddar, lettuce, bacon, onions, an egg and some secret sauce. Very good burger, cooked medium. The bun was light, warm, and crispy. I like that they butter the bun and grill it for the crisp and that it isn't all that doughy. My wife had the chicken pesto panini. She wasn't that hungry so she didn't eat much of the panini, but said it wasn't bad. Chicken was juicy and the sauce was good. She wished there was more pesto sauce on the panini though. The fries....if you like fries, you'll like the fries here. They are the thin pencil fries that are just small enough for you to have to grab a handful to actually eat them. Ask for the spicy ketchup too that rivals Whataburgers spicy ketchup (I think it's better) .The downfall of this place is that there was a lot of trash in and around the patio area later in the night. We ate around 11:00 an hour before their close time.Vegetarian options: They have veggie options

Bomb atmosphere. Friday nights are the BEST days to go. Margarita drink specials (which are to die for) on the rocks or frozen both BOMB! And Friday night food bombI say this because I went on the following Wednesday and the food was mediocre/beyond salty! Must go. Beware of parking! Terrible. So ladies plan extra TIME to drive around to find a good decent spot (plan that outfit before hand) oh yeah they let dogs inside which kinda through me off the wrong way.... . I UNDERSTAND many love dogs but understand MANY don't want your dog in a place I have to eat my FOOD either! That's your dog NOT MINES Bruhhh....

This was my back up place because the other place I wanted to go to is in a neighborhood that had a power outage. But they got some good food.

This place has excellent burgers! I had the Swiss burger with sweet potato fries, and everything tasted great. It was also cooked perfectly. The only thing I didn't like was that they only have single restrooms, so when it is crowded it could be a wait.Dine in: Yes

The Dougie was good. It was cooked great with a soft pink throughout. The fries have Steak Shake vibes but dont quite meet the mark. The onion rings were good in flavor but the cuts were way to large.

My star is for the customer service. I drove down to Dallas for lunch and day shopping in the Village and thought to stop here to try one of the burgers advertised. Upon entry there were 3 young male employees leaning over casually at the bar. They glanced at me and kept talking amongst themselves but not 1 of them spoke to me, to greet me or offer assistance. At first thought, I didnt think anything of it too much other than they were young, rude and this was not chick-fil-a customer service. UNTIL, not even 30 secs later did a white couple (male&female) walk in behind me literally as the door was closing all the way did all three of them rise to say welcome in, how are you, offered them a menu and seating. Standing there in awe I politely turned and walked out. It was literally like an experience you see on the movie screens. Ive heard the reputation of the areas in Dallas but this was my first experience of it. I walked to a nearly Mediterranean eatery and spent my monies where the owner & staff were extremely kind and welcoming.
