I would agree with the reviewer below in that this is a South Indian restaurant disguised as a North Indian restaurant. There is some hint to this being a South Indian restaurant since it suggests that South Indian food is served there as well. Most true North Indian/Punjabi restaurants will not attempt to cook South Indian food unless it's dosa. Their north Indian dishes were lacking. Their chicken Tikka masala have south Indian spices like coconut and other spices that are clearly absent in Punjabi cooking. In addition, their palak paneer did in fact have cinammon bark which shouldn't have been there. I would not dine at Priya if you are wanting a classic Punjabi/North Indian cuisine. I wouldn't take someone here if you were trying to introduce them to Indian food as well. However, I would dine here for lunch and try their South Indian delicacies like Utapam, Idli and Dosa. To those who are trying Indian food for the first time, you should generally avoid restaurants that claim to cook North Indian and South Indian food well. That's the equivalent of a restaurant claiming to offer both Northern and Southern Italian food aka Olive Garden when in reality it's difficult to master the cooking styles of both regions.
