Honestly the reviews scared me a little but I thought the food was amazing. I had meatballs as an appetizer and it was incredible but the pasta rags was a drop your fork and push yourself away from the table type of experience. One of the best pasta dishes I've ever eaten. My wife and I absolutely will go back.

This restaurant is perfection! Best food I've ever had! We will definitely be back! Nice quiet setting with nostalgic music. I'm totally obsessed with the food! It is fresh, authentic and amazing!

Outstanding. A jewel in this small town of Fort Atkinson.Fortunately we read the reviews and made a reservation. There were four of us, each having a different appetizer, main course and desert. All were excellent! Our waiter Sam did an excellent job and then to have the chef (possibly the owner) come out to ask if we enjoyed the meal and thank us for dinning with them made it an outstanding experience.

Went here for a birthday celebration and overall experience was good. Slow night and felt we were taken care of. The steak had a lot of flavor and cooked to order. I got to the middle of the steak and that's when the flavor left, but each side of the steak (thinner) parts had a lot of good flavor. Appetizer was cooked and tasted really well. First time we've been here and probably wouldn't necessarily come for steak, but try the Italian food. My wife enjoyed her dish!

Let's start with the good. The artichoke cheese dip and calamari were both very good. Pasta Rags were delicious as always. The house wine was excellent. I was able to order sauteed spinach which wasn't on the menu and they were glad to do that for us. It was very good. Our waiter Sam was pleasant and did a good job . Now for the not-so-good: Seafood dish which was supposed to have scallops had none which wouldn't be a problem had it been stated before we ordered but she was kind of looking forward to those. The ribeye was not a good cut of meat even though it was cooked correctly it was just tough. Hindsight... I should have sent it back, but I know restaurants are struggling right now. I hope this one can get back to its old self because it used to be amazing!!!

What were we thinking - an Italian Restaurant in Ft. Atkinson? I saw pics online and the food looked better then other restaurants in the area - especially good looked one dish, gnocci in a white sauce with meat & peas, right up my alley. It was in the online & print menus, but we were told by the server its only a seasonal dish - not available! We should have left right then. We didn't, ending up with 2 plates of macaroni & cheese variants (not great, frozen peas) and a starter of freezer burned perogies. $82 included 2 beers & 2 wines. Were asked if we wanted bread, it wasn't brought out, nor were bread plates, or balsamic. Wouldn't eat there again, can't recommend it, especially with the 45 minute drive from Madison - an expensive bummer. The only plusses: we had a romantic seat in the window -- felt some cold air but it was lovely. And my date is ultra foxxy.

We had dinner here for tonight. The service was slow. I paid $8 to add three small scallops to my small serving of overpriced pasta dish. They were completely raw, totally cold in the middle. When I sent them back it seemed as though they were microwaved and still cold. The shrimp on both my pasta and husbands was undercooked and cold as well. The bread was cold. Table next to us had cold meatballs, they were sent back- and taken off their bill. We were not offered any compensation. Overall, bad service, overpriced. Will not recommended nor will I return here again.

No where on the website says reservations ONLY. Of I could give less than one star I would! Came in and restaurant was pretty much empty(literally serving ONE table) and we were turned away, because they only do reservations only! Really! Will not ever come back here again! WILL be telling everyone about hideous service. Really, you cant handle more than a table of 4 plus our 2? Maybe the lack of patrons says more about your food and service.Update: Your response, precisely confirms what I stated originally. Can I see the sign on your door from the house? Obviously not! Again only serving ONE table. Instead of arguing with your customers, update your website and save other customers the trouble. Not that it matters for that joke of a -restaurant-. The McDonalds down the road offers better service and better food too! I am glad this happened, actually ended up having a great time somewhere else, that was actually full but still found a way to make room for us. That's what we call, Great Customer Service! Shame on you!Hells Kitchen, this might be a good project!
